Re: iPad

I got an iPad for my parents for their 50th anniversary gift.  They love it.  In a moment that Apple should probably use as an advertisement, my mother opened the box, picked up the iPad to look under it, and asked, "Where is it?"

It may not be for everyone though.  I opted for the smallest, lightest macbook air instead, because when I travel I need fully functioning Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, and I'm also usually giving talks with it.  I'm writing an article on it now (with occasionally forum-reading breaks).  It's very comfortable to use, and it is barely heavier than the ipad.

Congratulations on the big 40 MT!  And enjoy your new ipad.  Put dropbox on it and you won't miss the extra storage.

I also have a MacBook Air which I really like.

My iPad is now almost two years old and the battery is starting to not hold a charge quite as well.

I will be 42 in a couple of months.

Turns out I'm just a few weeks older than Medium Tex (and yet I've accomplished so little, but there we are.  ;) )
I'm enjoying my forties so far, and I hope you are too. I just wish I had learned of the pp in my 20s or 30s.
Oh, yeah: iPad. Good stuff.

I think that the key to mastering time is to ride it like a surfer rides a wave.
