I saw something about a 14-year high. Is this true?

Flirted with 48 earlier. China is on holiday for a week and I was hoping for a dip sale this weekend, but with the US govt shutdown, it looks like the metals are catching some demand in the West. Timing is everything I guess.
When silver breaks $50, it is likely going to really rip.

Seems like just yesterday that I gave my nieces some silver coins and they were worth only a little north of $20 spot.
I guess it has been a few years.

With the huge jump in Gold, I was thinking of switching a little into Silver
Any ETF recommendations?
General thoughts?

What is the rationale? I think Ad O used to pay attention to the silver:gold ratio.
Silver has moved up along with gold.
Or is it because you expect silver to behave like a hypercharged version of gold? (which it sometimes has done).

(The above is not an etf recommendation; I hold both in physical coin form only. It's just to show the 52-week highs)

In case it zigs in a direction I like when gold zags in a direction I don't
Both have had crazy recent runs

I'm an investment genius -- silver zagged in the appropriate (up) direction when gold zigged (down)
I've got a track record of close to 24 hours
Worship me!
(Just, ignore my IBIT purchase yesterday

)

It’s always great when a plan works out.

My Mom had a bi-metallic position, half gold, half silver. I sold the silver and went 100% gold. Figured at age 96 she didn't need the added volatility. Now she's got 94% T-Bills and 6% Gold ETF. I think it's good.

So did mine, but she assures me it was just a phase she went through in college.
On a serious note: living to 96 and counting: priceless.

Gives a whole new meaning to a bi-metallic strip! (Which is a very useful way to detect changes in temperature.)
