I loved both. Had two bad experiences on the 80, one on wet pavement and one where a car did not see me. Broken pinky was the worst of it.

When my first daughter was due, I sold the Yamaha.

I occasionally have urges to get another, but 20 some miles an hour on my electric powered bike is good enough!
They don't seem to make many of those small motorcycles that were so popular when I was riding. Good reason too - they don't handle wet pavement very well as I guess both of us discovered the hard way.

Tried riding a big Harley once but it wasn't for me. Damn thing was so heavy I couldn't hold it up when I stopped.

If you're going to use pot, a bong is the way to go. Smoke a little at a time, and stop before you think you are there, wait 10 minutes and then reevaluate. Corto, the stuff at the dispensary is waaay stronger than the crap that circulated college campuses in the 80's. A friend gave us some vape pot and I vomited violently for an hour and felt like I had the worst flu for 3 hours. I won't ever be going near that stuff again. I'm with Tortoise, a couple of cocktails or 2 craft beers is the way to go.
My wife is laughing and happy it wasn't just her... :D
