Is anyone headed out for sweet boxing day deals? My girlfriend is wanting to score a new laptop for her architecture software.

She has higher processing power/memory needs than I even I do. That's a first in any relationship I've been in!

I've heard of Boxing Day, but only as a British/Canadian thing. We don't do it here.

It's also the second day of Christmas, and the feast day of St Stephen. As the first Christian martyr, with no idea from Scripture when he was killed, he was assigned December 26, the day after Christmas Day, by the church. So this is the day that Good King Wenceslaus looked out, on the feast of Stephen.
