I think its funny because he looks like a white trash stoner on drugs and the other people aren't finding it funny.
The fact that all of the spectators seem to find it annoying is definitely part of the appeal.

For the record, Careless Whisper is a great song.

Personally, I admire how persistent he is.  It's a great song, but after the 10th or 20th time hearing the same sax riff it gets a bit old.  Then, just when the mall cop tells him he's going to get arrested for trespassing, he decides to play it again on his way out... Comedic genius.

For some reason I love comedy that can repeat a joke so many times that it becomes not funny, then by the time you're totally sick of it, it becomes funny again because of how far they took the same bit.

That guy is sort of like a cross between Clarence Clemons and Borat.

I think there is a greater resemblance with the guy to ZZ Top than George Micahels.  But then, I wasn't exactly looking at George Michaels when he was popular...

I don't think he's supposed to resemble George Michael.  He's supposed to look like the saxophone player from the Careless Whisper video.

What if this had all been an elaborate ruse to get you to admit that you knew what the saxophone player in the Careless Whisper video looked like?

I think he tipped his hand with the "Careless Whisper is a great song" quip. ;)  Not that I disagree. :)
Well, I'll go ahead and say that I think that "Kissing A Fool" is George Michael's best song.

Wow! That was intense.  That clip motivated me to watch the first episode of The Newsroom, and I gotta say I'm impressed.  I'll be adding it to my TV rotation.

On a somewhat tangent of your post Gosso, I got a gold buffalo today to now have a 1 oz. version of the American Eagle, Canadian Maple, American Buffalo and South African Kruggerand. From my limited experience, it looks like the Maple is the prettiest of all of my coins, especially the leaf itself (the eagles on the Eagle coin are a close 2nd). Looks like America is in 2nd place to Canada in my mind now (at least when it comes to gold coins hah). :P

This is pretty cool.  Its of an old guy on a game show broadcast in 1956 who saw Lincoln get assasinated way back in 1865!

I'm not sure why but I have been listening to a lot of jazz lately, it's good working music.  Here's some Miles Davis - Kind of Blue (55:26):
