Listening to it. It is the first time I've ever listened to Musk. Quite good. I will probably listen to it again as soon as it finishes.

I did listen to the C-Span panel three times in a row. On the third listen I heard some things I'd not heard the first two times.

I'm always listening while doing other things on my computer. Sometimes what I am doing on the computer takes my full concentration and it blocks out from my mind any sounds. Or, comprehension of those sounds.

How do you listen to things such as the above?

I am near the end of the first listen.

Two things.

I have never really heard him speak before. He comes across as 100% genuine. Contrast him to Elizabeth Warren who comes across as 100% in genuine.

The second one is quirky. They all made the common mistake of referring to the last book of The Bible as "Revelations" rather than its proper name:

1. Agree

2. Agree. My wife and I noticed that too. A all too common miss pronounced Bible book in my experience.

To your former question: We watched on a laptop with no background distractions.

I'm liking that Elon started cutting his own hair, but what I'm really liking that it's so obvious.

Since I either have things like this on as either background or in conjunction with what I am doing at these keyboards ... I'm taking it in mostly by listening and little by watching. But, in this case, I did spend some minutes looking at him. And, it was not at all apparent to me he was cutting his own hair.

Me First And The Gimme Gimmes - Rocket Man

Later made famous by Elton John.

A good version of the song. But it was the other way around. First was an Elton John song in 1972:

This version came out in 1997.

There are two scenes of artistic elephants that I find almost hard to believe. One starts around 1:52 and the other around 7:45.

I just saw that William Shatner will be blasting into space aboard Bezos' phallic space rocket, and I'd like to post this video in honor of this historic event:

Now you can join me in listening to the same two alternative versions of Rocket Man that I heard today!

Many, many, many thanks for putting this here!

I cannot believe that this talented duo has been around for 15 years and it is only in the last hour that I've discovered them (thanks to you!).

Their interview was excellent. I've listened (so far) to 7 of their songs and greatly enjoyed each of them. I am now an OFFICIAL fan of them!

Zdogg with a tremendous (in every sense of the word) interview with Daniel Schmachtenberger (who I'd never heard of). This guy is amazing. I'm only halfway through it so far. The topic is "existential risk to civilization".

This IS quite good! Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I double the recommendation.

As soon as it ended I started it again for a second listen.

By the way .... does anyone here listen to Lex Fridman?

I discovered him last week and listened to several of his (long, long) podcasts. He is also quite good.
