It's a Christian liberal-arts college. Isn't that an oxymoron? I imagine freethinkers like me aren't too welcome. After all, its in Missouri. That's like the state with a massive population of Evangelicals, isn't it?

Yeah, Standford. I think it's all an in-group vs out-group thing. Which is reinforced by social environment you choose to participate in. You may think evolution is quack stuff, but repeatable confirmed observations and idea survival competition counts as evidence compared to faith. Faith, by definition, doesn't have or require the same intellectual rigor.
