Just made the jump and became a PP investor. I am a new to the investing world and have been trying to learn as much as I can. Stumbled across an article about HB and bought "Why the Best-Laid Investment Plans Usually Go Wrong". I was pretty convinced by his logic but was uncertain about how to get started. Then I found the Bogleheads thread and then this forum.
Didn't have enough saved up to start a TLT/SHY/IAU/TSM portfolio so I went with PRPFX. Hopefully in a year or two I will be able to start my own. Anyway, wanted to introduce myself and thank craigr and everyone else for the forum and discussion.

Re: New PP Investor
Glad the information was useful. Starting off with a passive investing strategy early on will almost certainly insure you outperform most of your peers that take alternate routes during their own investing careers.
Re: New PP Investor
I am still young and am in graduate school so most of my peers look at me crazy when I start talking about investing. Which was good I guess because I was able to get started with few preconceived ideas about portfolio management.
