Hoisington

Hoisington is an investment house consisting of long-bond bulls. They think (usually) that inflation is moderating, and 30-year yields will fall in 2025, due to a weakening economy.

iduno abt inflation weakening, but the Fed has to buy those bonds when they print.

This money has to come from somewhere https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/A091RC1Q027SBEA

Yeah, I've looked into the Wasatch Hoisington U.S. Treasury Fund (WHOSX) before. Came to my attention after listening to some interesting Lacy Hunt interviews - he advises the fund. The fund definitely qualifies for Long Term Treasury portion of the PP, has a history back to 1986, and I like that it is MF rather than ETF format. But I have a tough time getting past the 0.73% expense ratio. It's simple though - just 6 holdings (including some STRIPS) and a duration over 20 years:

Oh heavens I'd never buy their funds! I just like to read their reports and listen to Lacy Hunt.
