What is your age poll!

Your ratio of Views to the number of members who actually click a box is running very low in both of your polls.

Could this be because it's not anonymous? I've never seen a poll where it named the voters though I may have missed it. Personally, I don't care but maybe others do.

I was noticing that I was seeing names whereas I'd never seen them before. I did not do anything differently than I had prior. I had been wondering if I as the creator was the only one seeing this. But I'd never seen them before. And, you just confirmed that you also see them.

Is there a way for me to fix this?

It’s probably a new default setting for polls that was part of Xan’s recent poll enhancements. Seems like showing voters’ names probably shouldn’t be the default.

I've made it so that poll creators can choose whether voters are displayed, and the default is now No. I also changed this one to not display voters anymore. Did that fix it for everyone?

This one now is. Thanks. I'll have to carefully look at that feature next time I create a poll.

The last time I looked at the political orientation poll it was still showing names.

I just changed that one too. I don't think you'll have to look carefully because the default is now not to show names.

Thanks. I just checked and saw that you had also changed the other poll.

With the political orientation poll it was the first time I set a poll so that someone could vote for more than one category and, for some reason, it seemed like I had to enter that amount for two options? But then thought I'd also somehow then triggered the names showing. That was the only thing I'd done differently from prior polls.

Tortoise is right that there are now a bunch of new poll options provided by the extension I recently installed. So things are different about polls.

Being in the 50s DOES seem to be the median. Does being in the 50s constitute being old (or older, forgetting original wording)?

Not anymore! Now it looks like the arthritic, gnarled, middle finger it's supposed to be.

Curiously even distribution. We seem to have people of all ages here.

Rough average does seem to be about 53 years old.
