Exactly 100 years ago on the 15th of December 2015, the valiant « Poilus d’Alaska » (The “Hairy” from Alaska ; “Poilu” was the nickname of the French soldiers of WW1), arrived in the Vosges mountains. 436 Eskimo dogs brought back from North America to help French soldiers of the First World War to overcome logistical difficulties of winter in the Vosges.

She was spayed recently and is on the tail end of recovery. She's just well enough now to start going outside to parks and on walks.

Whatever gave you the impression that I am dyslexic? I'm many things but never that. I would never have been able to achieve a reading speed of 900 words a minute when I was 18 years old if that were the case.

Please note that I did not capitalize god. That kind of god is A (indefinite article) god and is not THE (definite article) God and therefore not sacrilegious in my opinion. For example, many people are their own god, or money is their god, or fame, etc. and ditch the real God. Or, if you like, you may just understand that I'm not perfect and blew it. Your choice. It's all good.

I wonder what it is that draws people to have a clear preference to one particular type of dog. You collies, me pugs. I mean, I love all dogs; any dog is better than no dog. But I really feel like I'm deprived if I don't have a pug.

To be honest, watching "Lassie come home" when I was little. Farm dogs like kelpies and blue heelers just didn't click with me.
What about yourself ? What first bought you in contact with a pug....

Forgive me guys, but I just need to park this unrelated post here for a day or two.
Let the record (and timestamp) show, that I know he's not from Ireland.
However, he's expecting ignorance and sophistry, so I'll let him have a taste of it.
An IDE of ignorance with nails made of pride. It is a wonderful blood pressure booster
for a holier than though personality.  O0  If this post sounds like an incoherent rambling,
you haven't read the IP thread, and I envy you for that. Suffice it to say, he shares a name with a few
other people around the world, and he doesn't like the mixup, hence the initial N instead of an S.
