This made me laugh. It's just generational prejudice. They want everything on their phone... they don't want gold, silver, paper money. This is my daughter. She just got married, didn't choose a silver pattern, had a lot of cash gifts, then asked my to take the paper and Zelle the funds to her so that she could push it into her online bank. It's as damaging as any prejudice is.

It's a lot more likely that the "US Dollar" is going to zero than that gold is.

Gold is so old and proven as a monetary asset it's got mention in the Bible. It's retained its value for centuries. The U.S. Dollar on the other hand.

It was never the only money tho. When it got too expensive people traded spices, other metals, etc. There are more currencies than ever now
