If you're looking to experiment on your own, try Simba's Backtesting Spreadsheet.
Or if you have any questions about Portfolio Charts, I'm happy to help.

Thanks for your link.
At first sight Simba's Backtesting Spreadsheet seems too sophisticated for what I want to do.
I will try to develop mine.
For this first version of the Google Sheets backtest,https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
I do not get the same results as those from http://www.portfoliovisualizer.com
$19130.98 vs $24,915
https://www.portfoliovisualizer.com/bac ... tion4_1=25
I am French, I would like to know if another user will have no problem of decimal separator with my sheet Google Sheets.
Can someone from non-French speaking tell me if everything is displayed correctly?

Thank you in advance.

You continuing to recommend "Simba's Backtesting Spreadsheet"?
The above seems to be one of the last times it has been discussed anywhere here?

Absolutely. The guy who currently maintains it goes by "Siamond" on the Bogleheads forum. I correspond with him all the time about data sources, and I have a huge amount of respect for his knowledge on the topic. It's a great tool.
