Which? Fidelity or Gabelli Treasury Bill fund?

Post by rllewis » Fri Jun 15, 2018 6:15 pm

I already use the SPDR and the iShares Tbill funds recommend in Craig's book. I want to diversify to one more. Which do you like better? The Fidelity Tbill or the Gabelli Tbill funds that he recommends? Or are they all the same? Thx!

BY "the SPDR fund", do you mean SPY? I use that for smaller amounts in accounts with low balances. In accounts where I have a larger balance I always try to go with individual T-Bills as they are commission fee with Fidelity. I ladder them so that something is coming due every three months.

And why are you looking to diversify more?

The SPDR is “BIL”, one of Craig’s recommended funds. Diversify because I don’t want all my TBills in just two fund companies.
