For me, a person with "balls" tells people things that they don't want to hear.

Ooh, ooh, let me have a go! This sounds like fun.

- Property is a social construct.

- God is a comforting fantasy.

- It is both natural and unavoidable that the strong prey upon the weak.

- Beautiful people have measurable social advantages in every sphere of society.

- Gold has an expected real return of zero over the long haul.

- Anarcho-capitalism is unsuitable for most people and human societies as they actually exist today.

- Socialism rewards mediocrity and tends towards stagnation and oppression.

- Global warming is happening.

- Ending the systematic oppression of the mentally ill caused an explosion of mass shootings.

- Most cities are stressful, expensive money pits.

Post of the month!! That is truly hilarious and refreshingly balanced overall.

But I love small cities. The Minneapolis metro area is great, IMO, as long as you live somewhat close to where you work. There's so much to do and plenty if very country-esque areas within earshot of the metro area. I could see larger metro areas as being far less palatable for people who like metro-diversity (for lack of a better term).

Then again, I hail from Bachmann country (central MN), not the jem that is northern Mn lake country. I could definitely see myself up there.

Only results matter.

If you keep doing the same thing that has been tried before multiple times and expect different results you should be reading history before trying it again.

We could probably debate the latter assertion until we are blue in the face... So we can skip that one for now, but perhaps you care to expand on the first.  I'm trying to pay more attention to my abysmal fantasy football team (strongly recommend AGAINST doing fantasy football), but if you care to open a new thread on the moral/functional implications on differences between the fringes of libertarianism, I'd love to comment when I'm not participating in this abbhoration of sports fanmanship.

I do hope the functionally illerate call on Him too.  "Man" certainly has not saved them.  Sad articles.  Yet another example of what happens when we no longer have a culture that appreciates Christian beliefs or at least adheres to Christian ethics (or any other ethical system that puts love of neighbor on a par with love of self).
