Season 2 was some of the best television I have ever seen.

If you go back and watch it a second time, there are all sorts of details that you probably missed the first time around. 

Brad Garrett's explanation of his shampoo preferences takes on a lot more meaning when you know that his head is going to be in a box shortly thereafter.

When it flashes back to Dodd riding to town with his dad, when you realize that Dodd was getting ready to commit his first murder as a boy of 12 or so, the shots from them riding in the truck are sort of chilling.

The comedy alone was worth watching.  Deadpan black comedy is hard to beat.
The Hanzee Dent storyline is hard to beat, although I did love Billy Bob Thornton as Lorne Malvo in season 1. 

Did you know that Martin Freeman (Lester Nygard from season 1) narrated episode 9?
