Your favorite podcasts?
What are your favorite podcasts (econ, politics, finance,...)?
Re: Your favorite podcasts?
Econtalk.
Q: “Do you have funny shaped balloons?”
A: “Not unless round is funny.”

Re: Your favorite podcasts?
Two Beers With Steve, Crawling Road, Kunstlercast, King World News. Goldseek Radio would be good if the cut their 2 hour program down to 45 minutes and eliminated the music.
Re: Your favorite podcasts?
APM Marketplace All-in-One, APM: Marketplace Money, PIMCO Investment Outlook.
(At least i'm reading "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" now that I finished "Fooling Some of the People All of the Time" :-)

I like "Turning Hard Times Into Good Times."
It's basically a gold bug show, and I don't really take any of the predictions made seriously. However, it will give you good ideas about ways to own gold, and also just offers some very unique perspectives. The host is a deflationist, and I like that b/c the argument for deflation is much harder to grasp than that for inflation. Some of the guests may fall into the crackpot category, but it's still educational to listen.
Some of the guests are very good, though...James Turk (goldmoney.com), Ian McAvity (GTU). Good to hear what these have to say if you're looking for ways (other than physical) to own gold.
"The Peter Schiff Show" isn't bad either. If you know anything about Mr. Schiff, then you know he has very strong opinions about the direction the economy is taking, and, yes, he likes to make predictions (inflation), but he's smart and very articulate and it can be educational to hear his point of view (just don't let his ideas scare you out of the PP).

Also "Frisby's Bulls and Bears". The guy is very smart on either side of most economic debates, and therefore a great interviewer.

I assume this is the podcast put out by the Liberty Fund? They publish a lot of classic books on Economics and Political Science. I have several of their books and they are all top quality.MediumTex wrote: Econtalk.

Super interviews. Russ comes to the subject with an Austrian school perspective and the discussions mostly have an academic flavor (though highly informative and interesting).
