(this doesn't line up perfectly due to using different names/Latin names but its close enough)
for a study of formal logic a university/college text book might be a good way to go, its a pretty dense topic, especially when it starts using symbols.. the above taxonomy link gives examples, if you view the descriptions in the red "formal fallacy" section at the top of the page it might help you get the gist of it.
for a short but reasonably clear explanation of logic http://infidels.org/library/modern/mathew/logic.html and of course there is always Wikipediahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logic not quite as clear but more comprehensive.
i don't have any specific book recommendations, i studied formal logic 20+years ago as a part of a university philosophy program (pretty rusty now), my understanding of informal logic comes mostly from these links and other online resources....
