[It is a] fact beyond question that soldiers' battles, where one side is entrenched and invisible and the other advancing in attack, are things of the past, except in a wooded country or where all preliminary movements are concealed. We had soldiers' battles here, but by fighting them the lesson has been taught which the world will learn.

Not my usual genre, but it's good.
That woman is disgusting. The woman she spits on is kind of cute, though.
Feels like the end of the everything rally.
In Britain they have made burglary a safe occupation. It's like OSHA for burglars.

I lived in Italy for two years back in the 1980s while in the Navy. They were among the happiest years of my life.

I was in Venice a couple of years ago. It was awesome. Everyone should go before it's under water.

A ten part series covering the background of Pearl Harbor (79 years ago today) and a near minute by minute breakdown of the actual attack. I just finished it and it's top notch.

Thanks! I may not watch it but I can certainly listen to it while doing computer work that does not require total brain attention while I am doing it.

Television gameshow "What's My Line" from Sunday September 20, 1959. The guest panelist is Groucho Marx and he pretty much destroys the regulars and guests. I can't believe this got past the censors.

Many thanks for this! And, congratulations to you for accomplishing several significant achievements! You motivated me to actually get up from my chair and reach over to grab the headphones. You got me to actually watch a video.
Until I just watched this I thought I was the only person in the world annoyed by having to hear that form of speech and I was just being my too oftentimes overly critical self. Glad to know that I'm not the only one who finds that type of speech super annoying!

Belief is the death of intelligence. As soon as one believes a doctrine of any sort, or assumes certitude, one stops thinking about that aspect of existence

Which version of the song are you referring to?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Have_You_ ... ed_a_Woman
Logically I assume it had to have been this one?
""Have You Ever Loved a Woman" is a blues song written by Billy Myles and first recorded by American blues artist Freddie King in 1960."
It first came to my attention when I heard Derek and the Dominos do it in 1970. I cannot remember how many other versions I have now heard of it or if I ever heard the original done by Freddie King.

If you follow your link, it mentions:
Not to be confused with Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?.
That's the one I was referring to. Also, the one
I linked to in my post.
My mistake for quoting the title incorrectly.
