"Simon Birch" was a movie about a charming little boy with some kind of growth-related disability.  It was a little sappy, but not terrible.  There is, however, this one scene in the movie (it's 3:38 long) involving Ashley Judd that when viewed in the right way can be staggeringly humorous.

I first discovered the humor in this scene when I orginally saw the movie in the theater with my wife.  My wife is not easily amused and a lot of things I find funny she can sit through stone faced.  However, when we saw this scene she immediately began laughing uncontrollably and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't stop.  No one else in the theater had this response, and my wife tried to quiet herself down, but she couldn't.  It was like she was being tickled by some invisible force and her laughter became more and more intense.  Finally, I leaned over and suggested that she step outside until it passed.  She got up and walked out of the theater, struggling to keep her laughter in check.  After she had left the theater, though, she apparently overestimated the soundproofing of the theater against outside noise, and I could hear her in the lobby of the theater laughing uncontrollably once again.  Occasionally, I would hear the door of the theater open and I sensed my wife was trying to re-enter the theater, but the laughter would start up again and she would have to step out.

It was a weird thing.  She's never had that happen before or since.  It probably also depends on how you feel about Ashley Judd.

I'm not going to lie, I laughed pretty hard...but then again I'm a horrible person 

The way she was walking before the baseball hit her was fairly amusing, "Oh look at me, aren't I a precious thing, the world is so wonderful"...BAM!...DEAD.  But it's strange your wife would find it that funny.  There must be some deep-seated hatred of Ashley Judd.
