Re: YouTube Junkie
Many thanks for this! And, congratulations to you for accomplishing several significant achievements! You motivated me to actually get up from my chair and reach over to grab the headphones. You got me to actually watch a video.dualstow wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 12:47 pm for Vinny

Until I just watched this I thought I was the only person in the world annoyed by having to hear that form of speech and I was just being my too oftentimes overly critical self. Glad to know that I'm not the only one who finds that type of speech super annoying!

Watching l82start's movie recommendation Don Juan delMarco I did not know that the song Have you ever loved a woman was written for that movie. The movie had both english and spanish versions.

Which version of the song are you referring to?Mark Leavy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 11:50 pm Watching l82start's movie recommendation Don Juan delMarco I did not know that the song Have you ever loved a woman was written for that movie. The movie had both english and spanish versions.

Logically I assume it had to have been this one?
""Have You Ever Loved a Woman" is a blues song written by Billy Myles and first recorded by American blues artist Freddie King in 1960."
It first came to my attention when I heard Derek and the Dominos do it in 1970. I cannot remember how many other versions I have now heard of it or if I ever heard the original done by Freddie King.

If you follow your link, it mentions:
That's the one I was referring to. Also, the one I linked to in my post. Not to be confused with Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?.
My mistake for quoting the title incorrectly.

Re: YouTube Junkie
You only linked to the Spanish version. Therefore when I just went to it, I only saw the Spanish title, not the English title.Mark Leavy wrote: ↑Fri Dec 25, 2020 4:42 pmvnatale wrote: ↑Fri Dec 25, 2020 2:45 pmWhich version of the song are you referring to?Mark Leavy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 11:50 pm Watching l82start's movie recommendation Don Juan delMarco I did not know that the song Have you ever loved a woman was written for that movie. "Are We Going Into An Even Great Depression?" Got 2 min in, he talks about business operating at 25% capacity then and now, and having to eat outside, but the latter wasnt a mandate then. 30s was credit cut off, today is direct gov closure of small business.
Mortgages were callable in the 30s and the dust bowl was a supply shock, either of those could cause a depression. lib economists like to blame it all on gold.
