I'm on vocals, Mark Leavy on the keyboard.

Warning: this might be religious. Or not.

That was outstanding. What a mesmerizing song.
And we look pretty damn good for a couple of old guys.
Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the hallelujah

Different version of the same song by a different singer with a different set of pipes:

My favorite version.
Romans 6:23 (New English Translation)
For the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Very nice. I still prefer Cohen's somewhat more passionate (disturbing?) version. And of course Cohen wrote the song.

Mark ... the segment of the lyrics you quoted is indeed impressive. The man could write.

An interesting version of Chapin's Cats in the Cradle, with very brief interviews with his wife and son.

Totally dumb but about 7 seconds (I find it quite amusing)

Stephen Colbert, mourning the loss of the Mooch:

In the clown show of this administration, it's important to enjoy every chaotic moment. I used to get angry at the man and his supporters, but now I enjoy them all, like a twisted reality show. This communications director actually got fired before his start date. Go Trump! I can't stand all the winning! O0

Just discovered YouTube on my internet TV not long ago after retiring with too much time on my hands. It's very interesting the things they give you on their "recommendations" page and I can't figure out for the life of me why they would think I would be interested in all the anti-Donald Trump comedian links since I've never clicked on a single one of them, but they keep on coming any way.

But still, they've come up with some good ones even though God only knows how...

I must have watched this a hundred times one day. Totally mesmerizing! Does this gymnast/dancer who looks like she's only 10 years old and has no breasts though she's obviously older have any idea what she's really singing about - swinging "from the chandelier". What a beautiful though dark song but I hope she never has to find out the real meaning of the lyrics which seemed pretty obvious to me....

Damn this lady can really sing, even though I have no clue what the lyrics are about....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYEDA3JcQqw

Okay, this recommendation probably had something to do with "there was no ransom to be paid". What a beautiful though sad song...

Played this about 1,000 times in a row trying to memorize the words while putting a desk together. What a totally fun song! I think in one part of it they are asking if you know about mojave but I'm not sure. I don't know about mojave except for the desert any way....

Speaking of Leonard Cohen songs with religious overtones......

(Whoever copied the lyrics could have used some help with the use of apostrophes but other than that I think this is a great song - from the movie Natural Born Killers).

In the Trump era, I found this old video from 1947 interesting:

"The truth does not die easily; so they decided to abolish the truth."
