Has anyone had any experience with this supplement? It's a naturally-occurring substance that appreciably raises levels of dopamine, the neurotransmitter primarily responsible for motivation and the feeling of well-being. Supposedly it's effective at countering depression, improving cognition and learning, reducing appetite, and breaking addictions, among other things. It's becoming quite popular among "peak performance"-type people, with a large cohort of self-medicators reporting a very noticeable benefit. Apparently sustained use can desensitize your dopamine receptors, so it's recommended that you cycle on and off. Any personal anecdotes?

Re: Dopa Mucuna
With drugs, what goes up must come down. Maxing out dopamine (and other happiness neurotransmitters) means squeezing your brain for them in ways its evolved to be milked. A boost from a long walk, satisfaction of a days work, gym, boost from trolling vinny, and most importantly good sleep.
