What's your favourite book of all time?

Post by Smith1776 »

Just as the title says.

As my username pays homage to, I think The Wealth of Nations might be my favourite of all time. It really set in place a lot of the underlying framework for how I see the world and operate within it.

What's your favourite book of all time and why? O0

Mine is pretty much the same as Smithers'. But just the "how to" portion.

Rand's The Virtue of Selfishness

Rand or Libertarianism were never mentioned in my high school or at Stanford, despite taking a couple philosophy courses. And they loved the phrase "breadth and depth" to describe their programs

Well thats nothing compared to what they inflicted upon college kids with the covid response.

DNA has its own language (code), and language requires intelligence. There is no known mechanism by which matter can give birth to information, let alone language. It is unreasonable to believe the world could have happened by chance.
