Now on C-Span

Post by vnatale » Mon Oct 11, 2021 7:03 am

Now on C-Span will be Scott Gottlieb, former FDA commissioner who just wrote an outstanding book on how the pandemic was mishandled by so many.

Heard a prior interview with him and read the book.

Highly recommended that you watch this now.

If you miss it you can always go back here:

https://www.c-span.org/series/?washingtonJournal

...and watch it ANY time!

He will be on until 8:45 AM.

NO commercial interruptions!

YOU can call him and ask him a question!

Seems worth noting that he's also been a member of the board of directors of Pfizer since June 2019.

Worth noting. But what definitive inferences can we draw from that?

Right at the start of his talking...he disclosed that he is on their board and another board, both of which gave him an insider view of what was going on with those two companies.

Maybe nothing. But given Pfizer's role in the world's COVID response, it's worth keeping in mind as one evaluates his comments.

This guy scares me. From what I watched he just wants more control for government and more revenue streams to drug companies.

This pretty much sums it all up right here at 33:00:

question about Amish handling

Scott's response:

"They were able to create a bubble around that community to keep the virus out"

Yeah right. It is called they turned off the TV and got plenty of sunshine.

Wow.

I was not giving it my full attention as I was also occupied with other matters....but I did hear his answer...and I thought he prefaced your quote with...."I don't know. Maybe they were able...."

Alright. Maybe he really doesn't know anything about them.

I didn't know how they ultimately fared either honestly but it sounds like they did just fine.

Kind of funny way of just pulling off the band aid by sharing the communion cup to spread virus to everyone all at once.

The Amish share a glass of wine with communion (twice a year). The glass is passed through the whole congregation. A sip taken by all - from the same glass.

They weren't about to change their customs because of some damn English decree.

Soon after Covid started, pretty much all of the Amish caught it - and got over it - with a very small number of casualties among the elderly. A healthy, physical culture will do that for you...

The upshot of that is that they developed the earliest(?) herd immunity on the planet. So... now they are going on with their lives - protected with natural immunity.

No idea about the number of deaths, but here's a piece on the Amish.
