Hey, Mathjak, what's up with Upper West Side real estate?

We were discussing at dinner all of the shiny, new buildings in the area where "You've Got Mail" was filmed in 19998. Between Broadway and Amsterdam Av on W 77, for instance, there are lovely, tall condos. All over this area serviced by the 1 train, there are so many buildings less than 25 years old. The neighborhood from Columbus Circle to W 96th Street was reinvented since we moved back in 1996.

Will the big guys swoop and scoop up bargains? Is there thinking behind all of this?

Just thought I'd ask.
