Bypassing the U.S. $ (NOT bitcoin)

I keep coming across mention of banking and barter systems that bypass the U.S. dollar completely and are independent of the Belgian-based SWIFT. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Society_f ... munication )

One example is INSTEX, which Belgium itself is signing onto.

If anyone reads of somethiing similar, please post about it here. I’m talking about official international banking systems, so as much as I enjoy it when the bitcoin signal is flashed O0 this is definitely not about Bitcoin or other subversive systems that drug dealers and child traffickers are fond of.

It’s usually mentioned in the context of Russia, the selling of Venezuela’s gold, or countries that are eager to get around sanctions and buy Iranian oil.
