Speed at midnight. Halve it for peak usage times.

And top plan 20 years ago :o

Wow, that is crazy.
I had twice that speed 20 years ago, without the caps.
Although it did cost $130/month including the ISDN telephone line and the internet service.
Check out the ADSL pricing when it became available in the early 2000's :o

Yes, that is pretty expensive.
It might have been cheaper here but we couldn't get it because we are too far from the central office.
Our choices are satellite (expensive and bad ping but otherwise okay) or fixed wireless (reasonable cost per month but very high installation costs).
Another nod to the most beautiful equation: e + 1 = 0

Getting a bit blustery here tonight.

We'll see how it goes. I do so love raw power.

I'm on the 17'th floor and dragonflies and locusts are seeking shelter through my open windows.

Yes, Panama City Beach.
I spent a lot of time in Destin, working out of Eglin and I love the area.

I have gigabit fiber coming into the house. It's pretty awesome. Unfortunately it requires a deal with the devil: it's Google Fiber. I've consider routing everything through a VPN of some shape or form, but haven't gotten around to it.

And for a laugh, this was our communications up till about 1970. We then got *shock* dial phones 8)
And the town got more than six lines to Melbourne!

Not sure how many bits per minute the line was ;)

Woah, man. That's crazy speed. Also perhaps consider using TOR when applicable?

Won't that defeat the purpose? Every time I use a VPN, the speed is limited by the VPN connection to around 15Mb/s
