Ad, hope to continue hearing from you regularly, and best wishes from me as well.

If the shortness of breath starts getting worse, don't hesitate to call 911.

I did hear the same on C-Span from someone. I don't think it was Cuomo. Could have been. Or, it could have been one of the many "virus" guests they've constantly been having on.

It's horrifying to contemplate that something awful could happen to posters here and we'd have no way of ever knowing.

Anybody have any suggestions to rectify that situation?
Everyone post at least once per day. Then we might notice someone’s absence. ???? Just a thought.

If I get it and get to a worrisome situation, I’ll give my wife the info for 2 or 3 forums whose members would want to know. Including this one.

Actually it’s time for her and me to write down passwords and such.

And test that each of you can login and execute transactions if necessary without the other's help.

This is exactly what I'm doing with the students & postdocs in my lab. I'm having them check in daily on Slack with a quick summary of what they're working on. My senior postdoc ignored that for a few days then I explained that there was more than one reason for my request. He got the point.

Also phone calls with my mom twice a day, and facetime with her and my siblings daily. It really helps.

Self Quarantine Log 03-23-20
No loss of taste that I have noticed. Smell would be hard to note as I have bad sinuses and am always plugged up. Felt super run down this morning. All my joints ache. Two Naproxen and a long nap later and I'm feeling better. Trying to do longer walks with the dogs really early in the morning and later at night to minimize potential contact with others. Shortness of breath is mild and most notable when I engage in some sort of vigorous exercise like opening and closing the refrigerator door. About to settle down with Durant's "The Age of Voltaire."

I don't know if I had Wuhan or the flu, but I had similar symptoms to you, Ad. I had satisfactory results with mild Nyquil abuse.

Hopefully sometime soon there will be a cheap & easy antibody test, so we can see who actually did have it.

Slept really well last night. No fever in the last 24 hrs. Cough is mostly gone. Aches somewhat less. Still tire easily. All in all... a good 24 hrs.

Self Quarantine Log 03-25-20

Steady improvement now for the last couple of days. Symptoms either gone or so mild as to be noticed only if called to think about them. After close to three weeks of this crap, I'm starting to think that I may at last have turned the corner.
