A pessimistic group, for sure. The gestalt is that we're living in a financial house of cards and, since they all work in the finance industry, it makes sense they are wary. I'm inclined to agree.

And yet, I can't help but think that, for all the shit they talk about Japan (bank stocks down 85% over decades, artificially low interest rates and QE, low inflation)... Japan seems to be doing pretty good right now. Same with the US. It made me think of this article again.

Maybe I'm just chill about this because I've thought for a while that we're in a predicament that we can't solve, we just have to get on with it. *shrug*
