Yeah, you go ahead and believe it is all a coherent plan....

No vast conspiracy needed. . . It's just an iteration of the "give them enough rope" theme.

I don't believe there is any coherent plan either. I think Trump mostly tweets because he doesn't like it if he goes very long without being the main subject of conversation on the news channels. If he's a "genius" it's like Forrest Gump. He just does what he does and says what he says and it just seems to work so he keeps doing it.Cortopassi wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 3:35 pmYeah, you go ahead and believe it is all a coherent plan....

He is amazingly good at keeping himself in the news CONSTANTLY. It is tiring.jacksonM wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 9:06 amI don't believe there is any coherent plan either. Although I don't think Trump really has a coherent strategy, I do think the far left does. Admittedly, this could be influenced by my own personal bias but it sure does seem like they are always following a well thought out script like what you can read in "Rules for Radicals". And they've gotten so good at it that I think Trump was probably the only candidate that could have beaten Clinton, mostly because they threw so much mud at him until it didn't stick any more and he has an effective counterpunch - something neither of the Republicans who ran against Obama could match (and I don't think McCain even tried).Libertarian666 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 12:09 pmIt is a great advantage if your enemies think you are dumb.jacksonM wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 9:06 amI don't believe there is any coherent plan either. So he is winning there too!
So I will give him credit for being an instinctive fighter, if not a master strategist.
