Where's Smithers? I'm going to message you this weekend if I don't hear from you here.

We haven't met, Mr. Smith, but depression does, in fact, suck balls.
You are in my prayers.
Do you have a good therapist? If not, I very strongly encourage that.

Sriracha sauce and mayo is an excellent combination.
That is all.
Goodnight.

More MW if you like sweet, more soy if you like salty…mess around with the proportions to dial it into your taste preference. If you have a good Asian market near by dark soy sauce I think tastes best but the cheap stuff in grocery stores is fine just saltier.
Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us
And if you have a good Asian market and you are willing to climb a little higher in the tree for better fruit, try the original Thai Sriracha sauce. The story I heard is a Vietnamese American businessman decided to knock it off and create the sauce in the green cap bottle most of us know as Sriracha. But the original born in Sriracha, Thailand is regarded to be far superior in taste. Taste both and decide for yourself.Kbg wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 11:38 pmMore MW if you like sweet, more soy if you like salty…mess around with the proportions to dial it into your taste preference. I lived in Thailand for the better part of a year and ate very well.
No Cinnabon, though.

On the China history podcast by Lazlow Montgomery he has a whole episode on the Vietnamese Chinese siracha guy. It was pretty entertaining.
Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us
An indie filmmaker made a documentary about Sriracha some time back. I'll have to search it out. Probably an interesting story.
I like the Huy Fong mainstay, but IMO the original Thai is way better, especially on something like a burger.

How do you chili/garlic sauce lovers compare Sriracha and Gochujang and Sambal Oelek? Any special suggestions ( e.g. like Smithers’ Mayo and Sriracha combo)?
I tend to use Sambal Oelek more often than the others, not sure why. I like it to add some flavor and heat to my Sicilian spaghetti recipe (mushrooms, garlic, olive oil, butter over linguine).

Thought I had never heard of Sambal Oelek, and then smiled when I saw google’s image. I do the same thing as you- add it to pasta sauce and call it arabbiata .Mountaineer wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 3:35 pm How do you chili/garlic sauce lovers compare Sriracha and Gochujang and Sambal Oelek?
