Serious questions. No, I don't think I have COVID.

If you get it, under what situation should you go to the hospital?
What do they do for it in the hospital? All I know about is that the last step, the Hail Mary, is putting you on the ventilator. What comes before that?

You can get an injection or infusion of monoclonal antibodies. I don't think it needs to be done at a hospital, even. That seems to be the thing to do now to arrest the progress.

Find your monoclonal antibody site.
https://protect-public.hhs.gov/pages/th ... stribution

Find a doctor that will prescribe IVM so you know where to go when you need it.

Last time I heard from someone in hospital, they were just getting vitamin c, d and zinc.

You want to get your behind to the hospital if you encounter breathing problems of any kind or get low in oxygen. You can buy those finger tip oxygen monitors like they stick on you during a doctor's visit online or perhaps at your local drug store/medical device place. If you are using one of those anything below 90 that lasts is a good time to go before it gets too serious and you can't get there other than in an ambulance.

Hope you don't get it if you are older. It sucks even if you don't end up in the hospital which odds are you won't. However, what I learned talking to friends and work colleagues who got it while I had it is that it is different for everyone. I'd say in my sample size of maybe 15-20 I asked the most common initial symptoms were what feels like a bad head cold combined with a pretty good headache. That's typical of a lot of seasonal things, but the headache feels more like a standard bad headache vs. one caused by congestion. Hard to explain if you haven't had it. After a couple of days when it kicks in most had a complete lack of energy. After those three things, it seems to be unique to you for the rest of the common COVID symptoms.

Never made it to the hospital so no personal experience with that. People I do know who went were mostly sent home with some drugs, and/or got IVs and then were sent home. The only one's I know who stayed had respiratory issues and then the ability to breathe or not drove the rest of the treatment.

This popped up on YouTube for me.

Sounds like this doctor was ousted from Houston Methodist and tarnished to media for not having same opinion on ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies.

I couldn't imagine.

I have worn a mask for maybe 5 minutes total over the last 6 months and no other restrictions.

Are people trying to get their wealth out of country now?

Getting money out of the country - Don't know. Suspect people would be rather quiet about that.
What I do know is both local and foreign companies are holding off on capital investment.

Gone like Japan in the 90's - massive Gov't spending on un-needed infrastructure

From the FoxNews website this morning....
'Dramatically DIfferent'

'Heavily mutated' COVID-19 variant described as 'HORRIFIC,' sparks emergency WHO meeting"

Stocks, oil sink on new COVID-19 variant
Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Stay home. Stay safe everybody.

I think this story was perfectly captured in a movie. It was call The Truman Show.

From my son-in-law's sister yesterday who codes illnesses at a large hospital in Washington: Adverse effects from both the Moderna and Pfizer booster dose are significantly more prevalent than adverse effects from the original two doses. Adverse effects are including kidney shutdown, Guillian-Barré syndrome, and heart issues.

Thanks be to God my wife and I did not have significant effects and we hope others do not either.

Thanks for the PSA. I doubt we will hear anything about this in "official" sources. I get emails from the health department that my Pfizer booster is ready about once a week now but at this point I have no intention of getting it. I didn't have any side effects at all from the original shots, not even a sore arm, but since then I have been experiencing a strange thing with my eyes. They water, itch, and every morning I wake up with discharge turned from liquid to solid form. I can't help but wonder if it's an abundance of "spike proteins" built up in my system and needing to come out at the most readily available exit point.

Obviously, I'm not a medical professional and could be completely full of shit. Wouldn't be the first time.

Dr. Fauci has been indicating that the definition of "fully vaccinated" may have to be changed to require the booster. This, from the person who has been proven to be either outright lying or obfuscating about about the research at the Wuhan lab.

But he has the mainstream media behind him. The same folks on CNN and MSNBC who should have very long noses just like Pinnochio at this point. Actually, it is already apparent to most of us by now. They just refuse to see it when looking in the mirror.

Very interesting comments about your eyes. My wife and I had the first two Pfizer shots the first of 2021. Boosters at the end of September. I had cataract surgery mid-summer; the first eye was great, no issues, felt normal in a couple days. The second eye, not so good. Felt like I had soap in my eyes for 3 months post surgery. Crunchy gooey discharge every morning from the second eye but thankfully no pain. Watering eyes and burning sensation much of the day. Opthalmologist could find no problems. Finally got much better a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if it was related to the vaccine????????? Also, my wife's eyes have been very itchy etc. when never happened before. Hmmmmmm.

I'm not big on organized conspiracy theories.

But I do believe there are a significant number of powerful people in the world who experience orgasms from being able to control the behavior of others and they don't really need to get together to decide how to make them even better. It just happens naturally and forms into an unspoken cabal they probably don't even understand themselves even though they love it and become addicted.

Just downloaded RFK Juniors book, the real Anthony fauci. Just $3 on Kindle.

I view the $3 as a small vote against the insanity.

Update to the story about the new variant from Africa as FoxNews warned us about yesterday.

South African doctor says omicron variant symptoms ‘unusual but mild’
"So far, we have detected that those infected do not suffer the loss of taste or smell. They might have a slight cough."

OMG, not a slight cough. I have that right now so maybe it got here more quickly from Africa than they thought.

This may end up actually be good news then. If this thing can spread without having the same severe symptoms, then natural immunity will be obtained safer.

Also that would be crazy if it loses the most unique symptom of taste and smell loss. That was one of the weirdest things to experience. I couldn't smell or taste spicy mustard.

So, it turns out that the immune system can actually do it's job in a pinch. I had some blood drawn yesterday (results arrived in my email today) and not only do I have horrible cholesterol and good Vitamin D and average testosterone and reasonably good A1c, but also I am over the charts on Covid antibodies.
