PRPFX TLH

Post by foglifter »

After the recent huge distribution I'm sitting on ~3K of losses in PRPFX in my Fidelity account. I bought more on the reinvestment date (Dec 30th) and consider PRPFX a long-term position, but if I could knock off an extra from my 2014 tax bill why not to sell the "red" tax lots and buy back later. The question is whether I should wait in cash for 31 days or move the sale proceeds temporarily to some other fund so I don't lose on a possible share price appreciation. Any suggestions for a replacement fund/ETF are appreciated.

Any ideas?
