Last Friday's 4:30 PM Treasury report & the Swiss Franc

Post by number5858 »

In Friday's Treasury report release, http://www.treasury.gov/resource-center ... 202013.pdf, there is a section on the Swiss Franc. The interesting part is the language that says, "...Switzerland should return to a flexible exchange rate regime as soon
as conditions in Europe improve." This would sure be good for PRPFX if it happens sooner, rather than later, as the Treasury suggests.

I'm not sure that the Swiss central bank cares what the Fed or the US Treasury says about their (insane) exchange rate policy, which has been unfortunate for PRPFX and anyone else who thought they would act responsibly toward the holders of their currency.
