Innovations coming from Texas Precious Metals

Post by ochotona » Fri Sep 01, 2017 10:00 am

Proprietary 1 oz gold non-coin rounds, 99.99%
Proprietary 1, 10, 100 oz silver bars, 99.99% (they already have a 1 oz. silver 99.99% Texas round)

Elimination of order minimums, free shipping for all orders will be maintained
VISA / MC accepted (but you pay 4% more)
Online sell-to-them features
Sell limit orders (currently they only have buy limit orders)

www.texmetals.com

I have no financial interest in their business. I am a customer.

I always found JM Bullion and APMEX to be a bit cheaper, but with these changes TPM is worth a second look.

How are things with Texmetals? Still good?

I was thinking about trying out JM bullion, and then I remembered this thread.

Yes, it's fine. Always shop just before you buy, though. You might stumble on a deal somewhere.

Thanks!
I'll take a look, but I usually just buy boring old bullion, so there are probably no fun sales for me.

Thanks, ochotona.

I don't get the texas gold rounds though. A higher markup than the American gold eagle for something that you can only sell back to them?

Much better to buy gold in a standard form that you can sell anywhere you want to.

Yeah, that makes no sense. But you've got to understand native Texans... they like that kind of thing. They'd buy a fecal pellet if it had the Seal of the State of Texas on it.
