FBI Stealing from Safe Deposit Boxes

Another reason for storing your gold off shore.

"A federal judge issued a sharp rebuke to the FBI's attempt to expose the identity of one of the anonymous victims of a March raid that seized more than $86 million in cash, jewelry, and other valuables from safe deposit boxes in Beverly Hills, California."

And just where is the safe place to store your gold off shore nowadays?

I think there was a consensus on the Perth Mint in Australia for a while but seeing how they are reacting to COVID down under it doesn't leave me thinking that it would be that safe.

You have to pick your risks with holding gold. I am still planning to get going on the overseas thing. Per someone's review here, I am looking into SWP Cayman. I like what I see. Is there risk? Yes. So if I do it, it will only be a portion that I can afford to lose.

X marks the spot!

It's safer buried in your backyard than anywhere else.

I’ve been part of searching for the family jewels as it were. No fun to need to sell a house while wondering if you found all the valuables.
