About that boating accident...

Post by Ad Orientem »

https://www.foxnews.com/us/ex-treasure- ... gold-coins

Five years and counting in the clink for refusing to disclose the location of missing (likely embezzled) gold coins. This guy is obviously in a different league from your casual investor who chooses not to report gold on their taxes or who thinks that if the Feds come knocking that he can just shrug and say "I dunno where they went" or "I lost them in a boating accident." But the Feds have the power of coercion if they are serious enough or sufficiently provoked.

If they come calling just tell them you lost it in Margaritaville along with your shaker of salt.

Should all my gold be looted and all the electronic exchanges in the world be shut down — I’ll always have my deep, deep, deep emergency gold right on my finger. O0

I prefer to keep mine embedded in my femur. Adding to it is a hassle, but then it’s secure.
Bonus: one day, when I’m cremated, people will think that i was good at meditating, some kind of zen master.
