This site says the average house fire burns at 600ºC, far lower than the melting point of either metal.

If you are worried about this, a media-rated safe will reduce the maximum temperature significantly.

Yeah I found some fire binders on Amazon.
I don't have a safe, but I think these will do.

Yup. still, I keep some at home between bank visits.
And all the silver at home, all the time.
