hi guys,
i got a fidelity account. I was thinking parking some cash in short term treasury fund fsbix (no fee, no short term trading fee).
i checked the chart on it its seems the volatility is less 1%. i also like the fact it moved up alot during the 2008 crash.
What do you guys think is this a safe place to park cash for 6 months to 2 years?
is there some risks that i am not accounting for?

Re: parking cash in FSBIX
I asked the same question last year:

I ended up buying T-bills, but when I rebalance in a few months I may again consider buying some FSBIX.

FSBIX is the next fund I'm looking at adding when I open an account with Fidelity for institutional diversification. I will hold part of my emergency fund there; seems like it should be good for your purpose.
