While still in pursuit of trying to simplify cash investing I came across some new treasury ETFs.
It looks like they just created them in the last couple of months. Two funds of interest to me are the 6 month and 1 year treasury ETFs that have a .03% expense ratio.

I just opened a Fidelity account and am buying 3 month T Bills. Easy, no fee, and known maturity.
Just another option for you if you haven't considered.
Obviously you can buy any durations.
