The stable asset fund is sort of appropriate for the cash piece of the PP.
The rest are not appropriate for any PP purposes.

I was in the same situation, we just had a total bond fund. If your company allows it, set up a 401K brokerage account.
If they do not, then try to put the long term bonds in an IRA. This will avoid taxation on the interest each year.

I'd probably put stocks in the 401k and hold LT Bonds elsewhere given your options.

If some of the money in your 401K is company match money rather than contributions from your paycheck, depending on the specific rules of your 401k program, you may be able to move the matching fund money to a regular IRA account. I did this last year. There were no tax implications except that it was tax reporting event. I did have to speak with a Fidelity Investment Adviser on the telephone to make it happen, and he was really unhappy about me sending money to Vanguard (lots of sneering about me being a "self-directed" investor), but I was able to get money out of the 401K to buy TLT.
