Argentina... again

Post by Ad Orientem » Fri Jul 31, 2020 7:52 pm

LOL, some people simply deserve to lose their money. Anyone stupid enough to lend money to a country where defaulting on sovereign debt is the national pastime, falls into this category.

I agree. Argentina defaults every few years. I'm glad I don't have an inclination to lend them money.
I hated all the things I had toiled for under the sun, because I must leave them to the one who comes after me. Who knows whether that person will be wise or foolish? Yet they will have control over all the fruit of my toil into which I have poured my effort and skill under the sun. This too is meaningless. . . Nothing is better for a man than to eat and drink and enjoy his work.

I do, however, have money with Blackrock, which this article has me rethinking for a number of reasons.

Yes, it's smart to know what the people you let manage your money for you are doing with it ^-^ I think Blackrock also owns a silly amount of rental real estate that they picked up after 2008.
