Biden’s Courageous New Vaccine Strategy

Post by tomfoolery » Fri Jan 08, 2021 1:25 pm

Biden has stated he will change the strategy for vaccine rollout. Trump is a coward who held back much needed doses of vaccine in order to make sure there was enough left over to give everyone who got the first dose, a second dose, a few weeks later. Holding back a reserve in case of supply chain disruption.

Biden is a hero, because he’s listening to scientists who say there’s some unproven evidence the single dose of vaccine provides some protection. And we have to listen to scientists. The science will catch up eventually.

But what about supply chain disruptions?

Biden will invoke the national Defense Production Act where he will compel companies to make more vaccine on a faster schedule than their engineers think is possible.

Once again, just shows how government is needed to solve the problem of lazy greedy corporations who can’t figure out how to make vaccine faster. Government will step in and make them make the vaccine faster, so it will be faster, safer, and higher quality than if left to their own greedy devices. If we let the drug companies decide how quickly they can safely produce vaccine, we’ll all be dead of covid. Biden with his nearly 50 years in public office knows way better about manufacturing vaccines.

And if there is a supply chain disruption and people can’t get their second dose within 21 to 28 days, then honestly it’s probably Trump supporters who are intentionally messing with the well-oiled machinery of the Biden-Harris Administration trying to sabotage it like that pharmacist who intentionally wasted vaccine leaving it unfrigerated.

Everyone on the /r/Pharmacy subreddit agrees this is a great idea. And the barista at my local coffee shop has a masters degree in chemical engineering and she agrees companies intentionally hold back vaccines to maximize shareholder profits.
