Natural Gas

Post by AdamA »

Anyone savvy enough to have made any $$ from the recent bump in natural gas prices?

I tried to bottom pick Natty (UNG) a while back and quickly got out.  I wish that I would have known about FCG as a much better alternative to UNG at that point.

UNG sucks.

This is a much more conservative play, but the pipline MLPs can be a very good investment, though many of them are pretty high right now.

I used to follow BWP pretty closely.

I was doing the same thing (prior to PP).  I owned some UNG, and then realized I didn't really understand how it worked, so I sold it (shortly thereafter I discovered PP).  I still think nat gas would be a good place to speculate, though.
