BelangP Graham Portfolio

Post by Hal » Mon Jan 17, 2022 6:02 pm

Just a random observation...

Ben Graham - Default Portfolio 50/50 Shares/Cash or Bonds
Rickards - Gold is a form of currency (cash)
BelangP - Optimal Gold/Shares ratio 35/65

On combining criteria into a simple portfolio, it looks quite promising

Not bad.

Take a look at this simple allocation.

25% TSM
25% small cap or small cap value(I don't know how easy it is to find total world small cap value fund but small cap looks doable)
25% intermediate bonds instead of bills
25% gold

Taking cues from golden butterfly with the small cap added in.

Following on from Whatcha's lead using SCV for a US Portfolio 8)
Honestly, using some variation of this for a VP if I lived in the US wouldn't be out of the question.
