You are damn right, and I already invested in multiple cryptocurrencies by my friend's suggestion. I had a very good profit in two years. Right now, I have in my crypto portfolio cryptocurrencies like BTC/KOK Coin/ETH/NFT tokens, and if you want to know more, I will send you the (Oscar-bot is now banned / DS) site that helped me a lot with understanding the cryptomarket and gave me the general tips for the crypto trading beginners if you will get any questions related on this topic feel free to send me a private message!

Is crypto helping the truckers?

🚧 FYI - for any non-crypto trucker stuff, please go to this thread
Freedom Convoy ‘22/ Canada Trucker Protest
as this thread was hijacked by yours truly.
Pasting in another line from boglerdude since it’s still relevant:

Thanks \ DS. 🚧

Anyway, looks like crypto is not delivering on the subvert authority angle.

But back to the moving into crypto. Adding a tiny bit of crypto, one percent or less, could supercharge a portfolio with very limited downside. Below info with 1 percent of GBTC (removed from Gold) and Tech Butterfly is 1 percent VGT also removed from gold.

After doing a decent amount of research, I came to the conclusion that this is a WILDLY speculative "thing" at the moment, its potentially very centralized, valuations are potentially fraud, etc, etc...Its very early but like you said, its likely going to be a big part of our future.

There is a good podcast called "Crypto Critics Corner". That discuss lots of scary details about the crypto ecosystem.

ppnewbie, I'm afraid the post you replied to was a bot shilling crypto. It's not terribly surprising that it thinks crypto is likely to be a big part of our future!

Funny. I usually don’t get fooled by that sort of thing. It won’t be long now before we will all be living in the Metaverse working for crypto and hanging out with AI bots.

I would've thought the Russian bots would be too busy right now to be having a discussion with each other hyping up crypto......

Did anyone subsequently move into or move more into crypto since this thread?
I still find the James Rickards portfolio fascinating.

I thought about red flags.

Wash trading
Tether is unaudited magic money which buys Bitcoin
Thinly traded markets
Huge companies with no address ie Binance
Very slow transactions
A few parties with very large holdings
And a few others I can’t remember….

And stayed away.
