With communism just around the corner starting on 1/20, I believe that cash may be king for a while.

Ultimately every party needs to do what is right for us or their political careers will be decimated

Both home ...barely touching oxygen, up and around and on the mend .....we are mobile now through out the day getting up and doing whatever we have to ......tomorrow I will attempt one flight of stairs in our building ...at rest I feel great ....up and doing things I feel fine but breathing is not near normal yet at all . But every day is gaining back more and more capacity.
Thanks for asking

I was about to inquire about your health as well but, alas, Vinny is quicker than I (a result of playing with taller basketball players?).
Good to hear that you and your wife are making progress, mathjak. It must feel good to be home!

Just reading about all you went through had definitely affected me....making me far more cautious than I had been...

Re: mathjak's daytrading adventures
This virus hits everyone differently as it multiplies and tests our defenses ...it can be very good at what it does in many of us ....
It has such crazy outcomes from death to no symptoms to permanent damage in those who who survive ..it loves to attack lung tissue and either cause issues itself or forces your own immune system most of the time to cause collateral damage that is the hardest and longest to recover from .
Our damage we are undoing is the damage our own immune system did as the fight left airways inflamed and mucus covered.
I feel very good now , I don’t know if my wife is ready but today I will take the elevator to the basement and try the stairs , at least to the first floor walking but .
I am fully mobile now all over the apartment and out of bed and off oxygen...amen

Gosh, what a saga you've been through with your wife. I feel the same as Vinny... that your experience with the virus has made me more cautious. Hope you both continue to improve and that you can eventually get back close to 100%.

mj,
Glad you are doing better!
I am curious, what was your position on Covid before getting it and has it changed the view you had?
