I also hope your drumming gig comes back in 2021.
Oh wow , long story ......

unfortunately the owner of the groups name . front man and founding member got cancer and died recently during covid .

well i haven't heard any thing since he died a few months ago and i always thought the group would go on as a legacy band since his son is in the group and he was really doing a great job carrying the torch.

but i ran in to a former member of the group at the studio i happen to be at before I got COVID and she told me something i was shocked by .

the groups name and operations were held in a LLC created by the owner of the groups name , and he had signed personal guarantees for loans .

not sure how or why he got the LLC in to such great debt , but his surviving wife said the name can no longer be used or else the group could be sued for the debt that was owed . he evidently was on the verge of declaring bankruptcy it was so much . (for a 2nd time )

so dont know the whole story and out of respect i wont divulge who it was but i thought it was crazy that after a 50 year run , the name has to die with the owner of the groups name and trademark and can no longer be used , not even by his son ..50 years of history down the drain as far as a viable business goes .

it just seems most careers in the music business end up crashing and burning .

my dad was a pro drummer too and he refused to teach me just because of how these careers burn and how unpredictable they can be . so i had to learn on my own .

Ironically my wife and I ordered lunch in to the studio that day for Christmas for the owner .....I believe that is where we got COVID eating at a small table .

Within 2 days I was coughing and he called the same day to say he had chills and a fever....

Same here. I was just thinking this morning that we had not heard an update from you for far too long and was again going to ask here if barrett had not already.

Thanks for the update, MJ. I hope that both you and your wife are back home and healthy soon. Of course, if forum members don't check to see what your day trading adventures are, they don't even know that you've been sick.

We'll do our best to keep the price of all assets down so that you can buy a big friggin' dip when you get out!

Your experience is going to make me a bit more careful when it comes to COVID. What you two are going through does not sound like fun at all.

Closest to me also who has had any degree of symptoms. A people (young) told me that they had it but did not seem to develop any symptoms.

My cousin died of it last month. I honestly think it was merciful in his case.

MJ,

Like TLT, have you sold *all* your gold and are strictly day-trading both TLT/GLD?
