Well said.

It is very convenient to buy an ETF when the market is down for a day or two. Especially, if one needs this ETF in one's portfolio. Not to mention that TLT even pays dividends once a quarter. The chances that something goes wrong with this plan are minuscular.

Looks like Tlt is down at 9am by 6500 for me from Friday ....looks like I will be back in pocketing about 7k I hope again.

Gld is 04 cents higher so if I buy back Tlt I will buy back Gld too as a pair... TLT DOWN 1.27%. Just about at target

Not to any humans but to 18 pets.

I am quite happy not to live with any humans but it'd be absolutely deadly to not be living with any animals, especially the supreme animals of the world - cats.

I have always been a grass is greener on the other side kind of person.

When I'm in a relationship I envy single people. When I'm single I envy those in relationships.

I don’t envy those just starting to date in the #metoo era. There are some good things coming out of #metoo, obviously. It will be harder to get away with Harvey Weinstein crimes, especially over so many years. But, I think it was easier to be a teenager in the 80s, or even 90s.

There are days that I envy the simplicity and peace of the single. Those days are sometimes followed by nights where I sleep downstairs. O0

When I get married, people from this forum would definitely be invited to attend. ^-^ ^-^ ^-^

It's a promise I know I can keep, because in order to follow through a woman would first have to agree to marry me. 8)

You sound like the male version of a crazy cat lady!
Only 3 of the 18 are cats. I've set my house limit at 3 cats (unless a Siamese or Tonkinese comes around. Then I'd make an exception to add one more). All the others are rodents. And, all, including the cats, are low maintenance.

Brings to memory a few lines I decades ago heard a Pastor use in a sermon: "Marriage is like flies and a screen. Those on the outside want to get in while those on the inside want to get out."

Also, remember what my cousin said even decades and decades before that: "I'd rather wish for the rest of my life for what I did not have than to wish for the rest of my life that I did not have what I do have."

I'll try to get some of each of them tomorrow.

The three sets of gerbils are the most difficult since they are all in glass aquariums but I'm just realizing it will work with the tops (cat protection) off. And, at feeding time they should all be at full alert.

The two sets of rats are always quite demonstrative about being fed in the morning so they will provide good pictures.

until death do us part is not a wedding vow as much as a goal ha ha

Would it be accurate to say that just by staying invested in gold normally, pp'ers have made more (%wise) this morning than you have made from many quick gold trades?

not at all on an annualized basis .... for the amount of time i actually spent in tlt or gld it surpasses just riding it up and down .... they brought in more than 60k last year actually spending little time in those issues and generating profits elsewhere when they are not in tlt or gld ..

just sold bitcoin gbtc at the open which you can see above i bought last night for a 4% gain over night with some of the proceeds . plus there is interest coming in on the days the money is cash .

in fact if things settled down you can kiss today and yesterday good bye most likely if you did not do something to capture those gains before they evaporate in both of those .... that is the problem with them .. they are a flash in the pan then roll back time and time again .
